Acceptance
By using HookSnap, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
What HookSnap is
HookSnap is a webhook inspection and forwarding proxy. It receives HTTP requests sent to your endpoint URLs, logs them, and optionally forwards them to a destination you configure. It is a developer tool intended for legitimate integration testing and debugging.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use HookSnap to:
- Collect or exfiltrate data without authorization
- Forward traffic to internal or private network resources (SSRF)
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or abuse the platform
- Circumvent rate limits or plan restrictions through artificial means
- Resell or redistribute access to the service
We reserve the right to suspend endpoints or accounts that violate these terms without notice.
Pro subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Your Pro token is issued once via email after payment and can be recovered at any time. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. To cancel, manage your subscription through your Stripe billing portal or contact us at support@hooksnap.app.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge for refund consideration.
Data and payload content
You are responsible for the data that passes through your endpoints. Do not route production traffic containing unencrypted credentials, PII, or regulated data (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) through HookSnap without appropriate safeguards. We are not a compliant data processor for sensitive regulated data.
Service availability
HookSnap is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. We are a small indie product and will do our best to keep things running, but we are not liable for downtime, data loss, or missed webhooks.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookSnap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email to Pro subscribers.
