What we collect

HookSnap stores the webhook payloads you receive (headers, body, method) in Upstash Redis, associated with your endpoint slug. We also store your email address and a generated Pro token when you purchase a subscription. Push notification tokens are stored to deliver payload alerts to your device.

We do not collect names, passwords, or any personally identifiable information beyond your email at checkout. Webhook payloads may contain sensitive data — you are responsible for what you send through HookSnap.

How we use it

• Payload data is used solely to display and forward webhooks to you
• Your email is used to deliver your Pro token and subscription-related notices
• Push tokens are used only to notify you when a payload is received
• We do not sell, share, or analyze your data for advertising

Data retention

Payload history is retained for 7 days (Free) or 90 days (Pro) and then automatically deleted. Endpoint configs expire after 90 days of inactivity. Pro token records persist for the life of your subscription.

Third-party services

• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions
• Upstash — Redis data storage
• Stripe — payment processing (we never see your card data)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Expo / Firebase — push notification delivery

Your rights

You can delete your endpoint and all associated payloads at any time from within the app. To request deletion of your email and Pro token records, contact us at support@hooksnap.app.
